NetZero Emissions Media uses journalism and storytelling to make climate and environmental information accessible, amplify community voices, interpret policies for the public, and turn information into meaningful climate action.
We aim to bridge the gap between climate information and community action through climate action and climate justice by making climate policies, science, and environmental issues understandable, accessible, and relevant to communities — enabling people to participate in decision-making, advocate for their rights, invent and support local solutions, and contribute to climate action and the transition toward net-zero emissions.
NetZero Emissions Media is a platform covering climate and environmental news committed to advancing the goals of the Paris Agreement by amplifying climate action, environmental justice, and community-led solutions. We believe achieving net-zero emissions must be grounded in climate justice, accountability, and meaningful participation of the communities most affected by the climate crisis. Through credible journalism, storytelling, research, and public engagement, we seek to inform, inspire, and mobilize collective action toward a just, sustainable, and net-zero future.
To increase communities’ access to credible climate and environmental information through journalism, storytelling, policy interpretation, local-language communication, and public campaigns to connect communities with climate policies, solutions, and opportunities for action. We work with communities to translate complex climate and environmental issues into information people can understand, relate to, and use to participate in climate action and advance a just transition toward a net-zero future.
We amplify the voices and experiences of communities most affected by climate change and environmental degradation while equipping them with adaptation skills.
